Skala Potamia

    Skala Potamia is a wonderful coastal resort town that has everything to offer from traditional tavernas where you can enjoy delicious food and live Greek music, to corner shops that serve juicy gyros on pita among other things. The town stretches across part of Golden Beach and emerges along the green mountainside forming a village very beautiful and unique from the rest on Thassos.

    Golden Beach is very clean and organised, with shallow water and fine sand. There are many areas of the beach that you can find sunbeds and umbrellas available for a low cost and even a few beach bars and all-day cafés. There are also some areas of the beach that do not offer sunbeds and umbrellas where you can lay directly on the soft sand if you wish. The sand is perfect for children to build sand castles!
