The island of Thassos, our emerald island, is a paradise on Earth. It offers to the visitor, the opportunity to combine the beauty of the seaside, its long, clean beaches, crystal clear and deep azure seas, and the natural beauty of high, steep sided mountains, and densely wooded pine forests.

In the most beautiful of all of the seaside locations on this lovely island, in the resort town of Skala Potamia, also known as Golden Beach or Golden Sand, you will find our family hotel, "Pension Edem". Our Hotel is built in an exquisite location, right in the centre of a centuries old olive grove, with a very beautiful garden, which is absolutely bursting with flowers, which is looked after with great love through out the year. Within 300 to 500 metres from our studios and apartments you will find: kiosks, supermarkets, coffee bars, restaurants, fish tavernas, cake and pastry shops, nightclubs, and even Eric’s bar with its superb swimming pool.

You will find the taverna "Steki" just across the street from our hotel as well as the bus stop that is only 5 metres away. There is regular bus service which goes around the island and enables all visitors to access all of the other beautiful villages and beaches.

We will be delighted to welcome you as visitors to our hotel, and you will receive the warmest of all welcomes. We will do everything that we can to ensure that you get to know our wonderful island, and have a memorable stay with us. We are open all year long inclusing for the Easter Holidays and for May Day (May 1st). We would love to see you then.
